Yesterday, we celebrated Violets' 4th birthday. I simply cannot believe that our youngest is 4! Hardly a baby anymore, despite still having a teeny-tiny voice (although quite husky), dimples on her fingers and elbows and us all still referring to her as "the baby". Such a sweet and sassy little thing she has become (mostly that last part), trying her very hardest to keep up with all these big sisters. We will all try to forgive and forget that she carried around a gift bag with a tennis ball, dog collar and leash, pretending it was our dogs' birthday on her big sisters last birthday. And that the levels of that teeny voice can reach decibels previously unknown to the human ear. I am also sure that in a few years her teenage sister will laugh at how many times she infiltrated her room for makeup, gum, candy, shoes, her cell phone......... She sure keeps us on our toes!
I finished this skirt for her just in time, with the most adorable fabric ever! Check out my next post for the skirt tutorial!
